Tuesday News Reporter of the Day- United Way
The Centre County United Way exceeded the goal they set for themselves in 2012. They successfully raised over $2,100,000 in the previous year, about $30,000 more than originally expected. Their next project is a collaboration with the University on "Trash for Treasure", which brings in over $50,000 annually. Reporter Chelsea Clemens spoke with Tammy Gentzel, Executive Director of the Centre County United Way, about their recent success and future endeavors.
