Justin Maier, 24, has been playing golf for as long as he can remember. He started as a kid with his dad in the backyard. Later, his family moved to a new house located on a golf course. From there he remembers walking on the course each night when his dad got home from work. Fast forward 10 years to high school, when he landed a job at Dove Canyon Country Club. Justin played every day with friends who also worked at the Club.

Justin never took lessons. He and his friends went to the driving range and course together each day and figured it out on their own.

Dove Canyon Country Club is a beautifully serene venue set behind the gates of Dove Canyon, a community located in Southern Orange County. Upon arrival the first thing one notices is the quiet. With an open driving range boasting the fantastic backdrop of the Saddleback Mountains, and a sprawling clubhouse teaming with golfers and families, it is a truly special place. When driving to the first tee, golfers are greeted by sweeping views of an expansive canyon full of streams, deer, and the rare mountain lion.  The course itself is known as one of the best in the area. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus, and has a unique feel that according to Justin, “never gets old”.
