In four years with the U.S. Marines, Eric Medina served two combat tours in Afghanistan. After the pressure and cruel reality of the battlefield, Eric uses his art as a way of expressing his emotions.
When creating artwork, Medina listens to music and tries to connect it with his work. He hand draws many of his tattoos – including one of his tattoos that he drew to pay respect to a friend killed in combat.
