Kris King is the male owner of a plumbing and heating company. When he is not at work, King physically transforms into a female.

She says she was born with a female brain, and that one cannot change how she perceives herself. She says the only way to have your mind and body become congruent is to change the body and how you present yourself.

King says that the advent of the Internet helped her to realize she is not alone, that there are hundreds of thousands of other transgender individuals. King says she now runs a support group to help some of those other transgender individuals.
