Ryan Hickey and the B.G.B. I.M. Flag Football Team

Ryan Hickey is the wide receiver for ‘B.G.B,’ SN I.M. Flag Football team in the Majors Division. He has been playing with the same team for the past four years. The team plays every Wednesday night at the Penn State IM fields. This game took place Wednesday night, Nov. 4th and was the team’s fourth game of the season ending with a 4-0 record for the season so far. Hickey enjoys the time he spends with his teammates and getting back to “the glory days” while playing his favorite sport.

Cody is a senior majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Business Liberal Arts. He hopes to enter the sports media industry, specifically play-by-play broadcasting on the radio. During his time at Penn State, Cody has done play-by-play for multiple sports and hosted several radio shows on Penn State’s student-run FM radio station, The LION 90.7 FM. Currently, he serves as the Sports Director at The LION, which requires him to manage all of the sports staff and generate the schedules. He also has served as the station’s Finance Director since the beginning of the 2014 school year. Cody has also interned for State College’s ESPN Radio 1450, where he called State High baseball games.

Danielle is a proud Penn Stater from Wayne, New Jersey. She will be graduating this fall with a BA in Broadcast Journalism, and minors in Environmental Inquiry and Italian. She aspires to work with multimedia for a non-profit focusing on environmental sustainability and public health issues. She is a web writer and photographer for VALLEY Magazine and active member of the Sigma Kappa, Theta Psi chapter at Penn State. She just completed a public relations internship for Boston GreenFest, an annual festival that features interactive exhibits, forums, presentations, and other special events that focus on environmental sustainability.
