After twelve hours sitting at The Friends Meeting House, one of the polling places available for State College residents, Bellefonte Area High School senior Zach Dann is ready to go home.

As a way to both earn community service credit and $110, Bellefonte Area High School senior Zach Dann has sat inside The Friends Meeting House on Prospect Avenue helping people cast their votes. As a clerk, his job is to write down each voter's name and his or her ballot number. With only twenty four voters coming in to vote in the 30th precinct over a 10 and a half hour period, his time was mostly spent reading books, playing games on his phone, and even just rolling a ball back and fourth with the other high school volunteers.
