Tri-City rolled over Brooklyn 6-2 behind 13 hits. The ValleyCats hold a commanding lead of first place in the Stedler division at 41-14. The Cyclones are 34-21 and lead the wild card race.

Lowell stayed hot and topped Aberdeen 8-3 for its sixth win in a row. The Spinners are now one game below .500 at 27-28. The Ironbirds got a home run from Torsten Boss in the losing effort and are now 23-32.

Mahoning Valley beat Auburn 5-4 Wednesday night. Carlos Lopez went deep for the Doubledays while Erik Gonzalez homered for the Scrappers. The Scrappers are now 26-28 and the Scrappers are 26-28.

Batavia blanked Williamsport 5-0. The Crosscutters had four errors in the game. With the win the Muckdogs move to 28-26 as they stay in the hunt to win the Pinckney division. The Crosscutters fall to 19-35.

Hudson Valley shut out Connecticut 2-0. The Renegades extend their lead in the McNamara division to two games with a 36-19 record. The Tigers are now 24-30.

Vermont downed Staten Island 6-2. The Lake Monsters are now 25-30 while the Yankees drop to 16-38.
