A group of Penn State students are rallying support for people facing the ongoing water crisis in Flint, Michigan. Reporter Angel Brock has the story.

Senior / Broadcast Journalism

Kyle Rosenthal is a senior at The Pennsylvania State University. He is majoring in broadcast journalism and is minoring in French. The Long Island native has achieved Dean’s List recognition for all six semesters that he has been at Penn State. He is also the Promotions Manager of The Daily Collegian and President of the Collegian Street Team organization. Kyle has been a competitive member of the Club Gymnastics team since freshman year, and was the team’s fundraising chair during his junior year.

Junior / Broadcast Journalism and Spanish

Kayla is an anchor, reporter and producer for the Centre County Report. She is a junior from Shawnee, Pennsylvania, with duel majors in broadcast journalism and Spanish. Capable both in front of and behind the camera, she aspires to work in broadcast news television. She is currently a news reporting intern for WPSU FM, and will be working in Washington D.C. in the fall of 2016 as a part of the College of Communications’ Washington Program. She spent a summer studying Spanish language and history abroad in Ronda, Spain. Aside from her work in broadcasting, Kayla is also a student manager at the Findlay Dining Commons at Penn State.

Angel Brock is a Broadcast Journalism major with a minor in African American Studies. She has gained a lot of experience and skills from her required courses at the Pennsylvania State University and her current and previous internships. She as interned for various places like Big Ten Network, American Institute for Research, WPSU, Black Entertainment Television (BET), Politico, and The Department of Education. She has a strong passion for the mass communications field and she knows that she has a strong future ahead of her.
