Jerry Sandusky Hearing Recap
Jerry Sandusky was present for his court hearing on Friday. The main discussion was over visitation and communication rights with his grandchildren and his legal right to be on his deck. Despite public concern, a probation officer confirmed that Sandusky has not violated any existing conditions. Regarding Sandusky's trial, tentatively set for May 14, the Commonwealth asked for a new jury from outside of Centre County to ensure a fair trial. Sandusky and his lawyer, Joe Amendola, opposed, saying it won't make a difference what county in Pennsylvania the jury comes from.
