The number of homeless students in Pennsylvania is at an all time high. Reporter Nicole Joscelyn looks at the effort to help them.

Senior / Broadcast Journalism Major- International Studies Minor

Georgie Wayne is a senior at Pennsylvania State University majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in International Studies. Her main goal in life is to succeed in a career immensely involved in entertainment marketing and/or broadcast. Her dream job would be to produce and host a talk show revolving around entertainment and comedy.

Georgie held a position at Ish Entertainment in Summer 2015 as a Development and Post Production Intern. She worked closely within the Development, Production, Management, Finance and Post-Production departments. She also represented B.U.M. Equipment as a Marketing and Communications Intern focusing on the interface of the website and social media. Her broadcast experience consists of an anchor and reporter position for the ComRadio Station along with the student-run television station PSNtv. Georgie has worked with other jobs focused in sales, promotion, PR and management. She acted as a sales and marketing intern for Cosmopolitan Magazine and was the 3rd top seller in the program by exceeding sale goals by 307%.

She is outgoing, determined, dedicated, holds strong work ethic and will take on any task thrown her way. Georgie holds extensive practice with broadcast, digital editing, social media and web design.

Senior / Broadcasting Journalism

Nicole Joscelyn is a highly motivated Senior at the Pennsylvania State University where she majors in Broadcast Journalism and minors in International Studies with a special interest in Sports Journalism through the John Curly Center for Sports and also has a strong passion for entertainment news.  Through her education at Penn State Nicole has been able to grow and enhance her multimedia skills in print, radio and broadcasting.  Nicole plans on pursuing a career in television news.
