Gabrielle is an aspiring sports reporter with a passion for storytelling. She is currently a contributor for ESPNU, as well as a host and guest producer of 46 LIVE -a student produced webcast of the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (otherwise known as THON).
Corrin Jones
Senior / Broadcast Journalism
I am currently a senior at The Pennsylvania State University earning a Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Communication Arts and Sciences. I am passionate about pursuing a career in broadcasting and strive to improve my skills with any chance possible.
A variety of experiences have prepared me to contribute across a number of platforms.
I am currently an Anchor/Reporter for Centre County Report. This past year, I have been working as an Anchor and Correspondent for Wellsboro Home Page. Through these experiences, I have gained a vast amount of experience on camera, writing for both broadcast and print and overall production skills necessary to put together a compelling story.
I gained valuable knowledge and experience through a number of internships and job shadowing experiences with WENY-News and FOX. These opportunities gave me hands on experience in the industry and strengthened my skills as a journalist.
I am capable on camera, behind the mic and behind-the-scenes.
Tariq Rashid
Senior / Broadcast Journalism
Tariq Rashid is a senior studying broadcast journalism. Recently, he gained editorial experience with VIBE Magazine this past summer in Manhattan. Tariq also interned for WUSL-FM in Philadelphia and a congressional campaign for current United States Representative Brendan Boyle. He hopes to start a long career in broadcast after graduating.
