On today's Centre County Report: Local homeless organizations are dealing with a troubling trend. We talk with a State High senior who's helping others while he's fighting cancer. And we caught up with the Governor today in Bellefonte.

She writes for the Daily Collegian and reports for a variety of Big Ten sports teams — Penn State football, men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, baseball and softball.

On campus he works as a resident assistant and participates in Penn State Network Television as a producer and host. I am currently a senior at The Pennsylvania State University pursuing a bachelors degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in geography. I am also pursuing certification in weather forecasting. I am currently a Reporter for the Centre County Report, a Fill-in Meteorologist for WENY News and a Shift Manager for the Campus Weather Service. I was able to gain valuable knowledge and experience during my internship and work at WENY News.

Kyle Rosenthal is a senior at The Pennsylvania State University. He is majoring in broadcast journalism and is minoring in French. The Long Island native has achieved Dean’s List recognition for all six semesters that he has been at Penn State. He is also the Promotions Manager of The Daily Collegian and President of the Collegian Street Team organization. Kyle has been a competitive member of the Club Gymnastics team since freshman year, and was the team’s fundraising chair during his junior year.

With relevant classwork and internship experiences with StudioCanal at the Cannes Film Festival and VH1 in their Production Management department, Morgan has been exposed to many different aspects of the entertainment industry. Morgan is passionate about production and can’t wait to see what is in store for her after her time at Penn State.

Kayla is an anchor, reporter and producer for the Centre County Report. She is a junior from Shawnee, Pennsylvania, with duel majors in broadcast journalism and Spanish. Capable both in front of and behind the camera, she aspires to work in broadcast news television. She is currently a news reporting intern for WPSU FM, and will be working in Washington D.C. in the fall of 2016 as a part of the College of Communications’ Washington Program. She spent a summer studying Spanish language and history abroad in Ronda, Spain. Aside from her work in broadcasting, Kayla is also a student manager at the Findlay Dining Commons at Penn State.
