Sophia Perri

Senior / Sports Broadcasting

Sophia currently works with the Big Ten Network as a field reporter for Penn State’s ‘Student U’ broadcasts. These are live streams to BTN.com, which air delayed on the Big Ten Network. In May, she received recognition at the Big Ten Awards for her broadcasts and editing.

This past October, Sophia was on ESPN2 and ABC as the student speaker for ESPN’s “My University.” She appeared in a commercial during the Penn State v. Illinois football game speaking about the Pattee/Paterno Library.

This semester, Sophia is a reporter and sports anchor for the Centre County Report.
