Mary Pillot is a senior from Milesburg, Pennsylvania, majoring in broadcast journalism. She started her college journey at the Penn State DuBois campus where she was a shooting guard on the women’s basketball team. As a freshman, Mary broke the single-season record for 3-pointers, became a spokesperson on the PSUD recruiting video, and was named Rookie of the Year by her coach. After transferring to University Park, she became involved in the Production Assistant branch of CommRadio. After internships with Penn State Athletics and Little League International, Mary has experience with video board and game-day production. Mary is interested in pursuing a career in sport’s industry. Lauren Holly is a senior at The Pennsylvania State University. She is a broadcast journalism major minoring in business. Lauren hopes to work as an news/sports reporter or anchor. Lauren has experience with past internships with both broadcasting and video production so she can fully understand what it takes to run a news room. Some of these internships include local radio stations, Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics: Video Production, and the B1G Ten Network. Lauren is a reporter for the Centre County Report, winner of two national college Emmys.
