Tri-City downed Brooklyn 4-2 behind a two-run shot from Emilio King. The ValleyCats have won six in a row and nine of their last ten on their way to a 42-14 record. The Cyclones are 34-22 and lead the wild card race.

Aberdeen came back to defeat Lowell 5-3 thanks to a four-run eighth inning. Anthony Vega homered for the Ironbirds in the first inning to lead the game off. The loss snaps a six-game winning streak for the Spinners. The Ironbirds are now 24-32 and the Spinners are 27-29.

Auburn crushed Mahoning Valley 12-5 behind 15 hits. Shawn Pleffner went 4-for-6 with three RBIs in the game. The Doubledays remain atop the Pinckney division with a three game lead and a 32-23 record. The Scrappers remain on the edge of the playoff hunt at six games back with a 26-29 record.

Batavia beat Williamsport 8-4. The Muckdogs were up by just one run heading in to the ninth inning before they scored four in the top half to seal the deal. Danny Stienstra went deep for the Muckdogs as they improve to 29-26. Batavia is just three games out of first place in the Pinckney division. The Crosscutters fall to 19-36 with the loss.

Hudson Valley jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second and never looked back defeating Connecticut 8-3. Edgar Corcino homered in the Tigers losing effort. Richie Shaffer and Luke Maile hit back-to-back dingers for the Renegades as they extend their lead in the McNamara division with a 37-19 record. The Tigers are now 24-31.

Vermont edged Staten Island 3-2. Yankees left fielder Taylor Dugas recorded the only three hits for his team in the game. With the loss, Staten Island is 16-39. The Lake Monsters are now 26-30.
