Mila Brown-Keyes is a senior majoring in photojournalism who enjoys spending her time thinking of ways to be more creative. With a passion into the arts, Brown-Keyes has been delving into the art of painting. She has started her own business called “MADE x MILA” to sell clothing and accessories with her paintings on them.

Brown-Keyes has created her own FacebookInstagram and Twitter page showcasing her artwork in progress along with her variety of mediums. These social media networks allow the public to come across her page at any point while also getting feedback from friends and followers.

Previously, Brown-Keyes had her own Etsy page up where artists like herself can use this e-commerce website that focuses on handmade or vintage items and craft supplies. These items fall under a wide range of categories that people then can purchase.

As a full-time student, it’s been difficult for her to stay focused with school while also trying to make and sell her art. She’s had to temporarily put down her Etsy page.

As a photojournalism major, Brown-Keyes is able to use her skills she's learned from classes to apply them to adverstising her artwork. Once she graduates, she says she will relaunch her Etsy page and pursue a career in making and selling her art.
