Senior / Broadcast Journalism

I am currently pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism, with a special interest in sports. I am a hard working individual with clear goals, which are to become an executive producer for a major television network such as NBC, CBS, FOX, or ESPN. With the experience that I have gained at Penn State both in the classroom and outside of it, I can be a creative force in the production of a sports broadcast.

Senior / Telecommunications

My name is Christopher David Hunt.  I am currently a senior at Pennsylvania State University.  I am majoring in Telecommunications with an interest in video production.  I’m an avid video gamer, as well as TV and movie buff.  I have always been interested in the behind-the-scenes magic that happens with different projects.  It’s amazing to see so many groups of people work together to bring an idea to life.  My hope is that I can work on the same types of productions that inspired me as a child to get into video production and hopefully inspire the next generation of filmmakers.  My career goal is to get a job with the live-action department at Rooster Teeth Productions in Austin, Texas.

Senior / Broadcast Journalism

I am a senior at Penn State University from Suwanee, Georgia. I am a Broadcast Journalism Major minoring in Business. Along with my academics, I am a member of the Penn State Women’s Basketball team.

As a student at Penn State, I’ve had the privilege to work on my radio reporting, newspaper editing, and on camera skills in various classes. During the summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to job shadow women’s basketball analyst LaChina Robinson while she was working with the Atlanta Dream WNBA team’s “Dream TV”. This past summer I interned with WPSU Sports. I am also involved in several organizations on campus: Penn State Athletes Take Action, Athlete Director’s Leadership Institute, and National Society of Leadership and Success.

I am very passionate about basketball and plans to play after I graduate. I have played since the age of 7 and just finished up my third season on the Penn State women’s basketball team. I nearly doubled all of my statistics from the previous year and was awarded the team’s Most Improved Player, and Academic Achievement at this year’s banquet. Because of my love for basketball, I plan to seek a profession that will keep her around it as long as I can.
