Penn State's "No Refund Theatre" (NRT), an organization that is completely student-run, adds their own twists and turns to their adaptation of the storyline, "The Shining". Noah Schmitt, a junior playing the role of Jack Torrance, says that the cast drew inspiration from the horror book and movie to create their own version of the story and created, "Redrum," which was creatively named from the backwards spelling of "murder". NRT performs about eight to 10 shows per semester in 111 Forum.
