As the social media chair for the Rehabilitation & Human Services Club, she aids the club in spreading awareness about disability, advocacy, and mental health. After graduation, she would like to work in either field to provide the skills she’s gained from two different colleges to positively affect the lives of others.
Senior / Broadcast Journalism
I am a broadcast journalism major from New York City that was fortunate enough to move and grow up in several different countries. My father being in the Air Force meant relocating was a regular occurrence for my family. At the age of 15, my father moved us to the small oil-rich country of Kuwait. Being in one of the most stereotyped regions of the world for the first time, truly made me a two-deminsional surface come to life. I realized how misinterpreted so many parts of the world are, and it became my passion and goal to spread accurate information.
