Art school grooms students to add to Rio’s rich culture
As the country of Brazil is changing and developing economically, the arts scene is evolving alongside it. One art school, Escola de Artes Visuais de Parque Lage, is at the front and center of contemporary Brazilian art.
Instructors and students of Parque Lage are exploring various forms of art, from photography, to painting to music. They know that the students studying there will make an impact on how the world sees their country. The melting pot of Brazil's diversity in foods, music and history are reflected in the vibrant colors, shapes and sounds the students bring to their art.
