Alexander Korte Is on to the Next Key
Since he was about the age of four, State College resident Alexander Korte has appreciated and played piano music. With that, he also received a degree in music from Temple University and currently works part-time at the Music and Media Center in the Pattee Library.
For a short time frame, Alex did not play the piano but had decided to return to his art of jazz piano playing. Alex is extremely inspired y pianist, Craig Taborn. He believes in how musicality and creativity are vital in piano playing and one of his favorite and more memorable performances were that he likes playing in jazz clubs with his friends.
He advises the audience stating to never let practice become a chore and make sure to practice every day even if it a short one.
