Steven Fincham, the Coordinator of Athletic Facilities, paired up with University Health Services (UHS) to hold an event benefitting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The participants of "Working out for a Worthy Cause" can be students or faculty members who donate five dollars to the cause and in return will get a punch card. Participants were challenged to workout 20 of the 30 days of the event to be entered into the drawing for a prize.

This is the first annual fundraiser for the organization but they plan on working on more events like it for the future.
