The Franconia Ridge Loop Road Trip

On a sunny Friday afternoon a group of three friends decided to take a hiking trip to a National Geographic top ten trails to hike in the world trail in the White Mountains in Northern New Hampshire. The trail is called the Franconia Ridge Loop and it is a 9.3 mile hike that features waterfalls, and four peaks that vary from 4,000-6,000 feet above sea level.

At the peak, there was some early fall snow. The guys decided that not sleeping and driving through the night directly to the trail head and starting the hike at dawn was only going to add to the experience. Fueled by caffeine and an outstanding road trip playlist, here is the story.
