Story posted November 9, 2014 in News by Ray McDowell

Spencer Dell is a senior at Penn State majoring in Psychology.  During his freshman year of college, spencer enjoyed listening to his friends practice the guitar in the main lobby of his dorm complex.  After speculating for a while, Spencer bought his first guitar around christmas time of his sophomore year.  Once he began playing, he immediately fell in love with it.

The challenge of playing the guitar captivated him, and he couldn't put the instrument down.  He was initially ridiculed by his roommates for his poor play, however he never wanted to quit.  He has since improved significantly.

He has no aspirations to join a band or play professionally, but he loves to play and doesn't anticipate stopping anytime soon.  Learning the guitar has also motivated him to begin learning some new instruments.
