Shaver’s Creek Sunday
Those grey, cloudy State College Sunday Afternoons can get pretty boring if you've finished all your homework and laundry. If you're sick of playing x-box, then their's really not much else to do. That's why Penn State student Bryce Burkentine decided to take his girlfriend on a brunch date to Shaver's Creek, a short 20-minut ride from campus.
Shaver's was having a Maple Harvest Festival, where guests can eat all the pancakes they like and enjoy a reptile show afterwards. Burkentine got to see animals such as the Bald Eagle and the Black Rat Snake, both of which intrigued young children and college students alike.
