Photo Story: Mitch and Randy

Randy Ammerman, 62, and Mitchelle (Mitch) Ballas, 55, met in 1988 at a local bar in downtown State College Pa. Soon after meeting one another, the couple began working at Georges Floral Boutique on East College Ave. in State College. They worked under their mentor and the shop's owner, George Adelwerth, until the spring of 1991 when the couple purchased the shop.
Mitch and Randy have been together for nearly 30 years. The couple resides in State College with their dog Hamilton.
