UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State hosted its fall career fair Tuesday at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Hundreds of employers lined the floor of the BJC as current students looked for what could possibly be a future job or internship post-graduation.

David Delciotto, a sophomore majoring in architectural engineering, explained why he was at the career fair.

“I’m here to get a feel for jobs that are out there and possibly get an internship for this summer,” Delciotto said.

Being one of the largest in the country, Penn State’s career fair offers a tremendous opportunity for students to be exposed to a wide variety of companies in their desired fields.

Jordan Brussia, a fourth-year architectural engineering student, talked about those opportunities.

“Penn State runs opportunities like this to give students the opportunity to network and meet different companies,” Brussia said. “[It] makes it easier to find what they want to do for the rest of their lives.”

It takes a lot to set up a career fair, especially for a university of Penn State’s magnitude. Amanda Clark is a third-year architectural engineering major who had a role in setting up this year’s career fair.

“I got to help set up this morning, so I got to see the beginning of it,” Clark said.

Penn State will host its spring career fair in February 2020.
