The fishing industry in Hong Kong is going out with the tide. Overfishing and the emergence of fish farming forced traditional fishermen to look for alternatives to working from small boats in order to maintain their livelihoods.
Huaming Zheng was one of those fishermen. He started out on a small fishing boat at a very young age, but as the industry evolved, his life changed, but he still remains connected to the sea.
Multimedia journalist Shuyao Chen traveled to the Fisherfolk's Village at Sok Kwu Wan, Lamma Island, Hong Kong to show how Zheng reinvented himself.
