Musician reveals his songwriting process

Ryan Fox is a skilled guitarist and songwriter who writes and composes his own music. He began playing cover songs on a cheap beginner's guitar in eighth grade, but has since developed into an accomplished musician. A junior advertising major with a business minor, Fox is president of the Penn State Songwriters Club. Through his leadership, the club has organized charity benefit concerts and open mics on Penn State's campus and in the State College community.

Fox's music is derived from his own life experiences. When writing, he draws inspiration from the feelings and emotions that he encounters from day to day.  He is currently working on a collection of original songs which he plans to record as an album this summer.
