Music for a lifetime

Story posted November 9, 2014 in News by Alanna Haefner

Richie Hume has been playing guitar and singing since the second grade, but he has been a performer his entire life. His musical career started at a karaoke bar in North Carolina but he's moved all the way up the east coast and found a home in State College.

Hume is a graduate of Penn State University but remains in the area where he and the JJ Rupp Band  performs weekly at local bars and find themselves traveling anywhere from Vermont to the Florida Keys on the weekends.

Truly passionate about music, Hume said he plans to pursue his creative outlet for as long as life enables him to.
