Locust Lane rocks the stage at the Phyrst

Luke Paini decided over the summer to create a band. He was able to gather a good group of musicians to assemble Locust Lane. Now his big childhood dreams are coming true at a small State College bar, the Phyrst.

Luke started his experience at the Phyrst as a bouncer. This remained a constant while gathering a group of guys together to play. It started with Steve and Josh. The three would just play at the open mic nights. Royal and Nate soon rounded out their sound and quickly they were the stars of open mic. They have been playing Mondays at the Phyrst since January.

Locust Lane is still a young band, but for all of the members this is a dream come true. Luke said, “While I’m not playing in any arena, just a small bar, I can still check this off my bucket list.”
