Finding a Constant in Karate

Story posted December 5, 2017 in News by Jennifer Fabiano

Diego Loggiodice has been practicing karate since he was six years old. Loggiodice has lived in Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Spain, and now lives in State College studying engineering at Penn State.

As he has moved throughout the world, karate has always stayed a constant in his life. He was forced back to a white belt after each move, which he cited as the reason for the humility he holds today. Loggiodice finally made it to become a black belt on Aug. 3, 2016.

He now teaches karate at Penn State and is the president of the Shotokan Karate Club on campus.
