Election Day In State College
Election Day 2016 was divisive and controversial but historic nonetheless. State College residents and Penn State students took to the polls on that chilly Tuesday morning on Nov. 8 to cast their ballot.
For some students, it was their first time participating in a presidential election. They weren't shy about sharing their opinions in what turned out to be one of the most bizarre election cycles in recent memory.
In speaking with voters, it was evident that the importance of casting a ballot and participating in the election weren't lost despite certain feelings some had toward the two main candidates. After months of debating, voters had a chance to finally make their voices heard.
