An innovative program in Brazil is giving low-income women a chance at financial stability.

Mão na Massa, developed in Rio de Janeiro, empowers socially and financially vulnerable women by teaching them the skills necessary to succeed in Rio de Janeiro’s booming construction industry.

Graduates of this program have helped Brazil reach a milestone, doubling the presence of women in the construction industry over the last five years.
