Annie Takacs’s musical talent takes her to school

Most people read Nicholas Sparks books to enjoy their down time. Not 22-year-old Annie Takacs, a college student at University of Pennylvania. She reads musical notes and songs in her spare time to help her relax.

Takacs began playing musical instruments at a young age, starting with the violin and eventually moving on to the piano. Her piano obsession has thrived in the years that followed and helped her get into Penn -- her dream school. Takacs said that she had good grades when she applied to Penn in 2010. What made her stand out from other applicants was her music, she said.
