David Haun is a junior studying biology at Penn State University who has had a strong interest in cooking ever since he was a young child. He would be inspired watching his mother prepare dinners.

He eventually learned to cook on his own while working at an Italian restaurant in his hometown of Richboro, Pennsylvania. Haun goes on to explain experiences he had while learning to cook in a restaurant kitchen.
