UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa- Penn State students began to search for their future endeavors when they attended Tuesday’s career fair at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The University holds two career fairs each year, one in the fall and the spring. The spring career fair took place Monday and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The career fairs serve as a great opportunity for all Penn State students to try and get their foot in the door with potential employers. Many students of different majors and classes rolled in to try and find an opportunity for themselves.

One attendee, freshman Aman Amora, credits the strong alumni network that Penn State has that serves as a major benefit for current Penn State students.

“It’s especially a great opportunity since the university has so many great contacts all throughout Pennsylvania, the country and the world,” Amora said. “The students are able to find almost any job opportunity they would like to try for. It’s an equal opportunity for all students, it’s free and it's open to anybody.”

Supplemental events and interviews are also being held throughout the week to go along with the two-day career fair.
The career fairs are held once every semester to help provide employment opportunities for Penn Stater students once they graduate from college.
