Fashion Column: Time for Fall Clothing

Story posted October 9, 2013 in CommRadio by Dana Rothstein

It’s the first week of October, and let’s just say that things are cooling down in Happy Valley, literally. Shorts and tanks are slowly disappearing, as well as the cargo shorts and sleeveless sports jerseys.

The common Fall theme for girls is long-sleeved thermals, jeans, scarfs, and boots. Guys usually tend to vary on style, rocking everything from polos and khakis to skinny jeans and band t-shirts. Overall, the common guy fall style theme is t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. Here, below, I have some examples of the exploding fall themes on campus from two students.

Gino Stone and Brianna Shea, juniors at Penn State, said, “During the Fall Season, we like to dress warm, but comfortable. Definitely sweaters and jeans work for the both of us, but with our personal touches on our outfits.”
