American Indian sports mascots are making headlines nationwide, and there's a high school close to home that have been receiving a small share of their own complaints.

Tristan is an aspiring broadcast journalist, aiming for a career in a sports industry. Centre County Report is one of his first television assignments, but he has worked extensively with radio in the past and enjoys both subsets equally.  Outside of CCR, Tristan currently works for Results Radio in State College as a producer and cohost, and also is the current president for his fraternity, Alpha Chi Rho.  Besides Broadcast Journalism, Tristan has also completed minors in both Spanish and Business and plans to utilize these areas of study to the fullest when he enters the journalism field.

Jenna Abate is currently a senior at The Pennsylvania State University where she is majoring in broadcast journalism and will be graduating in May 2014. Starting as early as her sophomore year of college, Jenna began to work in television and obtained an internship with WJET-TV in Erie, PA. In the spring of 2013, she worked as a news reporter at the State College Bureau office for WJAC-TV in State College, PA. In the summer of 2013, Jenna started working closer to home, in New York City, for WPIX-TV as a News and Creative Services intern.
