Born and raised in Scranton Pennsylvania, I learned a thing or two about what it means to stick to your roots, specifically, your values. I had the honor of being accepted to Penn State University Park in the fall of 2014 for Broadcast Journalism with minors in Sociology and Theatre.  Through my studies, I have gained a greater understanding of people and they way they think as well as problems and what causes them in this country and in the world. I am set to graduate spring 2017.

While I have many passions, I gravitate towards working behind the camera on production and creation.  I self taught many of the programs I am efficient in today and continue to work on expanding my skill set.  I am open to new ideas and am willing to learn as much as possible, as well as teach others.

During my time at Penn State, I took the opportunity to get involved with marketing through organizations on campus.  It broadened my interests and provided me with valuable insight into effective communication as well as the workings of social media.

In the future, I aspire to be at the forefront of the communications field, working to bring issues to light, provide press for worthy causes, and uphold my work and my life to the Journalist’s Professional Creed.
