I also have dreams of becoming an actress as well, which is why I am double majoring in both sports broadcasting and theatre. I am currently a senior at The Pennsylvania State University pursuing a bachelors degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in geography. I am also pursuing certification in weather forecasting. I am currently a Reporter for the Centre County Report, a Fill-in Meteorologist for WENY News and a Shift Manager for the Campus Weather Service. I was able to gain valuable knowledge and experience during my internship and work at WENY News.

Valentina Valentine Ndibalema double majors in Broadcast Journalism and African Studies and is fluent in English,French and Swahili. She is a producer and director of the show “Zone In” on the Penn State Television Network. Over the past four years, she has interned at television and radio stations in Tanzania and Switzerland, interned with Penn State Athletics as a Live Production and Big Ten Network Student U intern and Production Assistant intern at International Channel Shanghai in China. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in serving as a producer or a reporter for television.

Morgan is a senior Telecommunications major and a French minor. With relevant classwork and internship experiences with StudioCanal at the Cannes Film Festival and VH1 in their Production Management department, Morgan has been exposed to many different aspects of the entertainment industry. She is ecstatic to have an opportunity to direct, technical direct and report stories for the Centre County Report. Morgan is passionate about production and can’t wait to see what is in store for her after her time at Penn State.

Jaclyn is a senior majoring in broadcast journalism with a double minor in Communications Arts and Sciences (CAS) and Hebrew. She had the opportunity to work in print at the Jerusalem Post in Israel, in radio at B94.5 in Centre County, and in television at Voice of America in Washington, DC. Jaclyn is interested in covering international news and hopes to live abroad and broadcast news internationally.

Currently I am a senior at Penn State University pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minors in both Italian and Theatre. I am a member of the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism Certificate Program, which allows for me to enroll in courses focused around analyzing the world of sports. In those courses I have gained hands-on experience with both sports broadcasting and writing and I’ve studied the role that the athletic world plays in both modern day society and the media. I have a strong interest in all areas related to sports, theatre, and the Italian language and culture.

Kayla is an anchor, reporter and producer for the Centre County Report. She is a junior from Shawnee, Pennsylvania, with duel majors in broadcast journalism and Spanish. Capable both in front of and behind the camera, she aspires to work in broadcast news television. She is currently a news reporting intern for WPSU FM, and will be working in Washington D.C. in the fall of 2016 as a part of the College of Communications’ Washington Program. She spent a summer studying Spanish language and history abroad in Ronda, Spain. Aside from her work in broadcasting, Kayla is also a student manager at the Findlay Dining Commons at Penn State.
