Centre County Report
The Centre County Report is produced by students and faculty from the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State. It is designed to serve a dual purpose. It is a source of news and information to the residents of Centre County. The site also functions as a real-time laboratory for students learning to report and deliver news to an online audience.
CommRadio is the official radio station of the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. More than 200 students, specializing in news, sports, production, marketing/promotion and sales, staff the Internet-based station. These students produce half-hour newscasts that air every weekday at 6, provide play-by-play of many Penn State and State College High sporting events and are responsible for creating and airing talk shows each week.
When student programming is not on the air, CommRadio supplements its coverage with Associated Press All-News Radio and soft rock music.
Students who wish to join CommRadio as a broadcaster should contact the Student General Manager.
